Cate Leach is a Tucson born illustrative artist making art about fictional worlds and how we interact with them. An only child, she grew up with more books around her than children. This sparked a lifelong interest in fantasy, myth, and many other genres of storytelling. Inspired by old book illustrations she mostly works in pen and ink, however also dabbles in digital art, watercolor, printmaking, and bookbinding. Her art creates windows into unfamiliar and magical worlds through sprawling drawings and strange artifacts.
